Deals with the innate biases people have and their reticence to look at issues through anything other than that bias. Also with the fragmentation of media, it has become easier for people to cherry pick their sources.
Major pet peeve of mine is people who refuse to countenance any view
point other than their own, and only surround themselves with people who
agree with all their view points. Just not healthy.
