Lies – Numb
Doing a radio show 25 years ago, CanCon (Canadian Content) regulations were always a stifling burden. If the focus of the radio show had been as eclectic as possible, it wouldn’t have mattered. Given that the focus was more on electronic/industrial type stuff, we sometimes had to shoehorn stuff in there that didn’t fit those parameters so well. Always exciting to find something, like Vancouver’s Numb that allowed for a more cohesive sound. Not sure it has withstood the test of time so well, but fun to hear it again.
