S.o.t.D. – Don’t Be That Way – Benny Goodman


As much as I love so much of the stuff that’s coming out today, this shimmering gem of a piece of music came out over 70 years ago, and it’s fantastic. Gene Krupa on drums in this is amazing. From the show they gave at Carnegie Hall in 38 or 39 (the first jazz-ish show ever at Carnegie Hall). I totally dig the whole big band, swing era.
