Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins
Wanted to see what the hype was about, and I have to say I see now. Liked it. Since I have a shrivelled up black coal where my heart is supposed to be, the whole love story thing was lost on me. But I enjoyed it a lot. The characters, the setting, the plot all drew me in. I’ll read the other two as well.

Thomas, well done as always!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed all three of the Hunger Games books. Makes me want to hide arrows in PVC caches out in the woods. I figure I can always make a bow...but to make arrows? That's a little more time and effort. Speaking of which--I did pick up two of the ESEE arrowheads that they sell. Got 'em on Amazon for $12/each. They are cool. I'll add them to the stash.
I read "The Lions of Lucerne" by Brad Thor because I went to most of the places he mentions in the book. I enjoyed it. Good escapist fiction. My wife is Swiss so we spent four weeks in Zurich and Lucerne a few years back.
Keep up the good reviews!
