I was passing through London a few months ago and had a couple of hours to kill. The British library was handy so I went for a wander round. They had an exhibition entitled "propaganda", I got a tin mug as a gift for my girlfriend with "dig for victory" printed on it (she's a gardener). It might be worth contacting them for a "sew for victory poster".
I have two books on wartime poster art, one of which I got from an exhibition at the War Museum in Ottawa. I'll try them as well. I also know a fella in the states who does reproduction wartime propaganda posters. I'll check with him and otherwise suggest it.
If people into gardening could appreciate a “Dig For Victory” poster or mug, I think people into sewing could appreciate a “Sew For Victory” poster or mug.
