Bruce Trail Hike to Spencer Gorge

After having spent far too much time posting stuff on here, I needed to get out for a while. Hadn’t been out to Spencer’s Gorge in a while, so that’s where I headed on Sunday.
Where I was going. Cootes Paradise in the foreground, with the Niagara Escarpment in the background. I would cut through the RBG grounds, up through the dip in the Escarpment, about a third of the way from the right, by Borer’s Falls, and go to the promontory, about a third of the way from the left, Spencer’s Gorge.

The hike through Borer’s Creek Conservation Area.
At the mouth of Borer’s Gorge. Looking towards the Dundas Valley. Further up the Gorge is Borer’s Falls.
On the opposite side, looking back towards Hamilton.

Prentice Lookoff. Looking back towards Hamilton. Cootes Paradise on the centre left.
Sydenham Lookoff. Lake Ontario in the distance.
Spencer’s Gorge.

At the back of the Gorge are two waterfalls: Tew’s and Webster’s that form into one creek, Spencer’s.

Looking over the edge of the Escarpment.
Looking across the Dundas Valley, with the Niagara Escarpment on the other side.
At the back of the Gorge, looking out towards Dundas, and the Escarpment on the other side.

I’ll definitely be back here in a few weeks time to take some more pictures.
Webster’s Falls
Back down in the Gorge.

One last look out across Dundas and the  Valley.

Great day and great to get out and hike some trails.
