When you get right down to it this is a strangely unlikely collaboration. Al Jourgenson of Ministry and Ian MacKaye from Minor Threat/Fugazi. A long time heroin addict and a fervent straight edge. Seems like oil and water, but gawd damn did it produce some fantastic stuff. Trait (which is a compilation of the three singles and the B-sides they did) is a record I’d take to a desert island with me. Absolutely some of my favourite “hard” music.
