Lego – Climbing Wall

Well I guess technically Lego and Playmobil.

My nephew really enjoys going climbing. He also really likes the two aforementioned toys. In an effort to get him to think of stuff to make from Lego that wasn’t a Star Wars fighter Anakin blaster, I took a base board, a bunch of randomly shaped and coloured pieces, two Playmobil figures, one with a loop on the belt (meant for a sword) and one with a chest harness (meant for a helicopter rescue), a length of cord, and made a climbing wall. The figures unfortunately are a bit stilted as they can’t be bent into the positions that human climbers can and do. But it was still a fun little thing to do, he thought it was clever and it inspired him, so, goal reached.
