John Robb and Global Guerrillas

Just wanted to give a plug to this. I have been reading this (and learning a ton) for a few months now.

John Robb was a pilot in USAF Special Operations, and since then has become an entrepreneur and seemingly a one man think tank. He writes extensively about open source warfare and things going wrong in the world, but also, things going right in the world. Things like resilient communities and networked tribes. That not only can insurgent groups use the free information and cheap technology available at our fingertips for attacking systems and governments, (which in many cases are doing a great job of toppling themselves), but that individuals and small groups can conversely use free information and cheap technology to build better systems and subvert systems that harm people and communities.

Lots there, but I find this site and what Mr. Robb has to say utterly engrossing.

Check it out.
