This is off my album Six and a Half Feet High and Rising
there is a lady named Jennyferfer
I’m truly honoured to know her
all in all she’s quite a honey
as foxy as a playboy bunny
she’s a very together girl
ready to give any experience a whirl
nothing’s done in half measures
she’ll explore all of life’s treasures
she likes her glass of scotch tall
at the dojo she kicks ass at dodge ball
not doing anything with a partial heart
taking up with gusto a martial art
she’s relatively new to kung fu
but quickly moving up those rungs too
her instructor is sensei Stef
who she thinks is more charismatic than Hef
he’s teaching her to fight with a staff
and he induces that unmistakable laugh
he thought she was pretty cute
she found him strong but not a brute
he was impressed by her talent
she thought he was very gallant
being her teacher is one thing
but it appears this led to something
he won the heart of a saucy lass
one fond of running barefoot through the grass
she’s happy getting dirt on her pants
putting in another seasons plants
she likes to soak up the magical power
derived from planting her flowers
one that’s become a virtual hobby
is cultivating the opium poppy
she knows full well they can do harm
but their beauty she has tattooed on her arm
she’s quite a talented ink slinger
but she’ll never tattoo a finger
or for that matter faces
it doesn’t matter what your race is
with designs that are never gaudy
she transforms a clients body
at a convention she’s sure to win a cup
for a superbly rendered pinup
deftly moving sharp needles
to ink a colourful beetle
majestic eagle, cartoon beagle
snarling tiger, fantastical geiger
from butterfly to butter dish
she makes tangible many a wish
with lots of drawings pinned to the wall
it appears she’s capable of doing it all
one thing is very clear
many people hold her dear
including a poetic wookie
who thinks she’s a pretty sharp cookie
