​Jim Henson’s Tale of Sand – Rámon Pérez

The story is...meh. Feels a bit like a “hey, I had a surreal dream. I should write it down.” I gather this was a screenplay for a proposed movie that predates his Muppets/Sesame Street fame.

The art, by South Western Ontario lad Ramón Pérez, is exceptional however.

Jim Henson Bust

This is a bust of Jim Henson done by my exceptionally talented pal, Anthony Veilleux.

Jim Henson was a very large influence on his work as both a sculptor and a special effects make up artist. In honour of this, Anthony sculpted a bust of Mr. Henson and encircled the bottom by small (½" to 1" high) sculptures of some of his most famous and endearing creations.

It’s available from G-Force Models, in addition to quite a few other remarkable pieces, about a dozen and a half of which are by Anthony.
