I was really into the first three Gary Numan albums, and my interest waned after that. But it was one of the things that got me really turned on to electronic music. It wasn’t quite as pronounced yet on this, his first album, bu there were enough hints of what was to come.

Gary Numan and Kraftwerk were what really turned me on to electronic music in a big way, yikes, well over thirty years ago now. Just love that militaristic snare track and that spooky, skittering analog synth sound coursing throughout this track.
