Went to visit friends, Scott and Ashley, and their growing collection of critters, on their farm outside of Kincardine.
Always nice to get out of the city, ate some sushi, drank some single malt scotch, checked out all the new animals.

One of the things they produce is artisan goat’s cheese, under the label, Rennet Rebels. Discussing the finer points of animal husbandry and child rearing. Interchangeable really.

Piggie Smalls and Pig Daddy Kane. When they discussed getting pigs last year I told them they should name one Pete so that when they eat leftovers he could be RePete.

Sheep sheltering from the rain under the cable roll, but popped out when we passed.
Turkeys temporarily sheltered in the shed, but only until Scott finishes welding the portable turkey shelter.
Chickens. And I thought the goats had a pong. Special Dual Purpose is the breed. They are pretty close to being done as their legs can barely support their weight anymore. They eat grass, bugs and grain. Their pens are moved every few days so they can fertilize another patch of grass.
