Sloot my shingshot

Went with my pal Shaggy to sloot my shingshot. Great fun. I got one knock down hit, a no knock down hit and we both got several balls very close to the target. Then we ran out of balls.

More projectiles will be fired on another day.

Slingshot

While on a recent jaunt to Princess Auto I found this slingshot. I like this style because of its compactness. While some I’ve seen have a larger grip, with possibly a storage space contained in it, a wrist brace to make it more stable, but I like this minimal style. I just want something for occasional use (hunting in an emergency, plinking). While I wish it was titanium, to marry light weight with compactness, but for the <$10 price? Meh.

I haven’t shot it yet, just a few preliminary photos. I will definitely be replacing that cord wrap, and I suspect I’ll replace the band and pouch eventually.
