Watched this documentary last night, and found it quite compelling. The ancient kingdom of Mustang, nestled between Tibet and Nepal, has been shrouded in secrecy for a long time. Few Westerners have had the chance to go there. A climbing/film-making team go for a month to investigate long abandoned, man made caves dotted throughout the land, housing ancient Tibetan Buddhist art and writings. Climbing, archeology, breathtaking landscapes, fascinating art. I enjoyed it.
